State Assessment/RICAS NEWS!
Dear CIP Families,
I wanted to share some awesome news about Captain Isaac Paine School! I am so proud and ecstatic about the news released yesterday by the state.
CIP is the only elementary school in the state of RI to increase math scores by 5.68% on The RICAS Mathematics Assessment last year in the state during a pandemic.
I am so proud of the students, teachers, staff, and families in the CIP community. Please click on the link below for our acknowledgment by The Commissioner.
Mission Statement: At CIP we inspire students to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens in our community by providing a challenging and supportive environment!

We specifically need to keep in mind the social emotional needs of students. As a social worker I am keenly aware of this. As an SLP I know that emotional issues, anxiety and other mental health issues show themselves in language. #CIPLearns #SEL
